LATEST VOTING INTENTIONOur latest voting intention figures published in The Sun this morning are CON 34%, LAB 35%, LDEM 8%, UKIP 12%, GRN 5%.
  • Labour lead by one.
  • 37% of people approve of the government's record to date, 51% disapprove.
LATEST RESEARCH
  • Stephan Shakespeare for The Times Red Box: Cameron ideas now seen as more optimistic.
  • Tracking the Cameron Parliament: economy is the only winner.
  • YouGov convened a focus group to find out how they thought the seven leaders would act at a party. 
  • Women think ‘beach body ready’ advert is offensive. Men don't. 
CURRENT ISSUES 

Types of government
  • All possible governments have net negative ratings among voters
  • A majority Conservative government is seen as the “least bad” option, with 46% saying it would be bad for the UK and 43% good.
  • The most unpopular government is one made up of the Conservatives, Liberal Democrats, Ukip and DUP, with two thirds (66%) saying it would be bad for the country and 17% saying it would be good.

  1. Miliband and the rest of his crew don't seem to understand one simple fact. The SNP do not want a Tory Government, They do not particularly want a Labour one either.
    However, to keep the Tories out and get the changes needed for Scotland they need to collaborate with other parties. Which, unfortunately means taking the risk of helping a high spending Labour party into power.
