10.58pm It is expected that Broxbourne may have the first results. but turnout has been high there with reports of one polling station nearly running out of voting slips.
10.46pm Someone is bound to have a quick result in soon. But in the meantime. A sad stat from the elections today. at least 60% that is 3 out of 5 voters were not engaged enough to vote.
10.38pm Will this transfer over to the council elections, as sky news paper reviews shows that all the papers have Farage across them as they expect UKIP to come top of the Euro Polls.
10.28pm It seems even Labour have come out to try and play down expectations, as they say they will be doing strong in Harlow, Stevenage & Norwich, but they expect the results to be patchy.
10.15pm Damage limitation from the Conservatives? Email from DC to members: "Whatever the results… we fought together."
10.06pm Polls have closed and LibDems are trying to stop the rot and if they lose over 350 councillors they will have the lowest amount for 30 years.
9.55pm Polls are about to close, and another report of turnout being up, as 8% up in a ward for Westminster council.
9.40pm Lots of last minute attempts on Twitter to push voters out, A report from the SW England that many names lined through when gone to polling stations and thoughts maybe as high as 50% turnout.
9.19pm another report suggests only 20% turnout in Radstock plus the postal votes. All quiet at the moment, with a slight rush of an hour to go tweets. No one is trending as of yet.
8.42pm reports suggest that turnout may reach 40%
I am trying to find out whether the percentage of people voting Green across the country has gone up or down, compared with last year. Can anybody tell me please?
