You will notice there is Only one council which is Durham where Labour have the most councillors and two for the Lib Dems, Bristol & Northumberland. Anglesey is the odd one out. But the rest are all led by Conservative councillors so they have the most to lose. It is unlikely Labour will make great gains in the south and this is where UKIP could make their break throughs as they move away from the Conservatives and move to UKIP. I even have the feeling that UKIP could do what the BNP did in Barking a few years ago and have a clean sweep of a council. The BNP only didn't win the council because they didn't put up a full slate UKIP has full slates in many councils so WATCH THIS SPACE.
