JANUARYS POLITICAL POP CHART

A new year, A new month and now a new political pop chart to see which political party is getting the most visitors to their respective websites.

Now this month the surprises have not come from the positions but some of the deeper information thrown up by the ALEXA website. BNP are still the busiest, UKIP are 2nd Labour move up and the Tories fall with the Green Party seeing another rise to 4th now.

But the surprise is the source of the traffic for the websites. You can if you wish click on each name of the party and be taken to the ALEXA page for that website (You won't go to the political website so you don't have to spoil your ideals).

ALEXA have got the split of traffic to each website and just what percentage of that traffic comes from the UK. as you will see below.

Now a lot can be down to bots. and other forms of Internet crawlers. But especially for UKIP it shows a high percentage from India. Is their a Indian party of the same name? Also for the BNP you can see that a lot of ex pats in Spain must be viewing the site. Which in itself seems ironical.
