Sturgeon 6/4 to become MP as SNP 13/2 to govern in coalition

BOOKMAKERS William Hill are offering odds of 13/2 (stake £2 to win £13) that the SNP will join a coalition government following the General Election - and quote 8/1 that Alex Salmond will become a government Minister as a result.
Hills are also offering 6/4 that SNP Leader, Nicola Sturgeon, will become an MP before the year 2020.
The SNP are now just  2/1 shots  with Hills to take 51 or more seats at the General Election - and 1/7 to have more seats than the Lib Dems - having been some 50 seats behind them at the last General Election. Hills have also halved their odds for Scotland to become fully independent before the end of 2024, from 10/1 to 5/1.
'The rise of the SNP has been perhaps the biggest story of the Election campaign so far and has been a big influence on the betting' said Hill's spokesman Graham Sharpe.
