Has Miliband Blown No 10, Ask Political Punters?

SINCE ED MILIBAND declared he would not enter into a coalition or a deal with the SNP, bookmakers William Hill have seen a flurry of bets for David Cameron to become PM as a result of the General Election (to be in the role on Aug 1 for the purposes of the bet) and have slashed his odds from 6/4 to 6/5, while Miliband's have been lengthened from 8/15 to 4/6.
'Mr Miliband remains favourite to be PM as a result of the General Election - but only because of the volume of bets placed on him in the belief that he will be prepared to team up with the SNP to take office. Since his comments about not entering coalition or doing a deal with them support for him to be PM has virtually dried up and we have lengthened our odds for the SNP to be involved in coalition govt' said Hill's spokesman Graham Sharpe.
'In fact we have taken more on who will succeed Miliband as Labour leader than on him to be PM since the remarks.'
