UKIP BY ELECTION WIN WILL SPARK DEFECTIONS, SAY BOOKIES
BOOKMAKERS
William Hill have cut their odds for TWO OR MORE MPs to
defect to UKIP between this week's by-election and the General Election,
from 6/4 to Even money.
UKIP are now red hot 1/33 favourites with Hills to win the Rochester
& Strood poll, with the Tories offered at 10/1 and Labour at 100/1
and the Lib Dems 250/1.
'There will be a number of nervous MPs if UKIP achieve their
anticipated by-election victory at Rochester, and we wouldn't be
surprised to see at least a couple decide to make a tactical switch of
Party pre-General Election' said Hill's spokesman Graham Sharpe.
HOW MANY MPs WILL DEFECT TO UKIP BETWEEN ROCHESTER BY-ELECTION AND GENERAL ELECTION? - 6/4 None; 7/2 One; Evens Two or more.
