ROTHERHAM - RAWMARSH ELECTION RESULT (UKIP GAIN)

Baldwin, William George, British National Party 80 - 3.3%
Gray, Andrew Tony Trade Unionists and Socialists Against Cuts 61 - 2.5%
Meharban, Mohammed Liberal Democrats 28 - 1.1%
Parker, Martyn Lawton The Conservative Party Candidate 107 - 4.4%
Vines, Caven UK Independence Party 1143 Elected - 46.2%
Wright, Lisa Marie Labour Party Candidate 1039 - 42.3%

It seems that UKIP became the opposition in this ward and swept up everyone elses vote to beat Labour.  Labour polled a few hundred less than they normally would, but the Lib Dems have the most to fear as they have lost 96% of the voters they gained in 2006 and beaten again by the declining BNP who got nearly treble the vote of lib dems. When will Cleggs leadership really come under question?
