BOOKMAKERS William Hill offer odds of 3/1 that David Cameron will be 'empty chaired' should the live tv election debates go ahead without him. It is 2/9 that he will not be. However, Hills also offer 6/5 that David Cameron & Ed Miliband WILL both take part in the same tv election debate, 8/13 that they will not.
'The tv stations are desperate to broadcast live tv debates but not sure whether Mr Cameron will change his mind and take part, or what to do if he doesn't' said Hill's spokesman Graham Sharpe.
**With Lord Baker suggesting that a Conservative-Labour coalition may be necessary to prevent the
SNP holding the balance of power, William Hill are offering odds of 33/1 that this is what will happen - but just 7/2 that the SNP will be involved in a coalition government.
'There has been some betting interest in the chances of a Lab-Con coalition, but much more in the SNP to be part of any governing coalition' said Hill's spokesman Graham Sharpe.
