About Robin Scott


Robin Scott, 31, is an Independent Parliamentary Candidate for Richmond (Yorks) where William Hague will be standing down in May 2015.

Robin is currently clear second favourite (Ladbrokes & William Hill) to take the North Yorkshire constituency in the 2015 General Election.

Robin grew up in West Witton, North Yorkshire, within the Yorkshire Dales National Park.

Following graduation in 2006, Robin formed his own technology company, 24 Hour Trading Ltd, with bases in the UK and Australia.

The “born and bred” local politician is poised to deliver a major upset for an area with 125 years of Conservative history, known as the “safest seat in the country”.
 

About the Richmond (Yorkshire) Constituency


The Yorkshire parliamentary constituency of Richmond, to be vacated by William Hague MP in May’s General Election, covers nearly 2000 km² and is 100 miles wide. It spreads from the Yorkshire Dales National Park in the West to the North York Moors National Park in the East. There are around 78,000 registered electors within its borders.
