Labour On Course For Minority Govt, Say Bookies

BOOKMAKERS William Hill believe Labour will form the next government despite having fewer seats than the Conservatives, and make a Labour Minority their 7/4 favourite to become the next government as a result of the General Election.
But Hills make the Conservatives 8/15 to win more seats than Labour - and 1/3 to win more votes. 'There is going to be considerable wheeling and dealing after the Election and even having the most seats may not be enough to guarantee being able to form a government for any individual Party' said Hill's spokesman Graham Sharpe.
Hills have opened a market for how many seats each Party will win:
  • Tories- 10/11 285 or more......10/11 284 or fewer
