Scotland Voting IntentionOur latest Westminster voting intention figures in Scotland for The Times this morning are CON 18%, LAB 25%, LDEM 4%, SNP 49%, UKIP 2%, GRN 1%.
- The SNP lead Labour by 24 points – its highest ever lead.
- 71% of people think Nicola Sturgeon is doing well as First Minister, 23% badly (a net rating of 48, up from 33 last month).
- 34% of people think Jim Murphy is doing well as Scottish Labour leader, 52% badly (a net rating of minus 18, up from minus 25 last week).

Current Issues
Railways
- The majority of the public (52%) thought the railways should be nationalised when asked their views last month.
- Only 14% said they should be run in the private sector and a quarter (27%) felt it didn’t matter as long as the standard of service was maintained.
- Labour, UKIP and Lib Dem supporters were all more in favour of nationalising the railways than Conservative supporters, but even within this group, public ownership was favoured over private ownership by 34% to 29%.
